Volunteer once a year, once a month or once a week. Everything and anything makes a difference for our kids. If you're planning to help out in the classroom or with any of the fun PTA activities this year, you'll need to complete the Kent School District Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) form, including a valid, current ID and proof of vaccination. This form will need to be completed every year.

Current PTA Volunteer Opportunities for 2021-2022 School Year

Ridgewood PTA is completely run by volunteers. The more volunteers we have, the more we are able to do. Please contact Julie at president@rwpta.org with any questions or to volunteer.

Art Docent: We are still working on logistics of this program to ensure COVID safety but are looking for interested volunteers. You don’t have to be an artist or know anything about art to participate. Art lessons can be as simple or detailed as you’d like. Supplies are provided by the PTA. Please contact art@rwpta.org with your name, the class(es) you're interested in volunteering in, and we will begin building the program by class. We have 19 classrooms looking for an art docent!

Popcorn: We are looking for 8 volunteers from 8:00-11:00 on Feb. 17, March 10, April 21, May 12, and June 9 to make and distribute popcorn to students to enjoy at recess. Volunteers will be masked and gloved while making popcorn. Sign up for one date or all 6 at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f044ba4a923a2f94-ridgewood. Please email questions to popcorn@rwpta.org.
