What is Trunk or Treat?
Trunk or Treat promotes a fun, safe environment for children and families to trick or treat. Kids can dress up in costume and trick or treat from trunk to trunk in the Ridgewood Elementary playground. Ridgewood families provide the trunks and the treats for our trick or treaters by parking on the playground and handing out treats from your car trunk!
Volunteers needed!
We need Ridgewood families to decorate their trunks (or a pop-up canopy) and pass out treats to make our event a success. There will be prizes for the best decorated trunks! Alternatives to candy are also encouraged in an effort to include all students in the fun. Some non-candy “treat” ideas are pencils, erasers, stickers, tattoos, small toys, or glow sticks.
